Step 1: Determine if you are eligible for admission to UC Davis
The minimum expected level of study, minimum grade point average, and the minimum test scores required for admission to UC Davis can be found at International Applicants on the Office of Graduate Studies website.

Step 2: Decide which program(s) you would like to apply to
A full list of graduate programs can be found at Programs of Study on the Office of Graduate Studies website.

Step 3: Determine if you are eligible for admission to the program(s)
Minimum TOFEL and IELTS scores, as well as Grade Point Average requirements, vary by graduate program. Check your eligibility by going to the specific program’s website or contact the program directly.

Step 4: Note the deadline for the program you would like to apply to and if they require supplemental application materials.
This information can be found at Programs of Study on the Office of Graduate Studies website. The deadline for international applications is March 1 (unless the program has an earlier deadline or the class is full). Applicants who would like to be considered for funding opportunities need to apply early – and no later than January 15. Please check with your prospective graduate program for funding deadlines.

Step 5: Apply online
Apply online on the Office of Graduate Studies website.

Step 6: Send in your transcripts and required supplemental materials.
